ALPARC General Assembly
As usual the General Assembly of ALPARC will take place during the Danilo Re Memorial Friday 22nd January, from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm in the Conference room of the Province of Cuneo/Cuneo - Italy).Please confirm your attendance by email.
You can make your hotel reservation online with the registration form. In case you will attend only the General Assembly ALPARC please reserve your Hotel online here. If you plans to attendance both, the General Assembly and the Danilo Re, you can reserve your Hotel by joining your team or as an individual (supporter).
Thematic seminar
This year, exceptionally, the thematic seminar is part of the international conference "The wolf population in the alps: status and conservation actions" taking place Friday 22nd of January 2016, within the LIFE project WOLFALPS "Implementation of coordinated wolf conservation actions in core areas and beyond" co-funded by the EU LIFE+ program 2007- 2013, "Nature and Biodiversity".
The conference is organized in accordance with the platform Large Carnivores Wild Ungulates and Society (WISO). Some of the leading experts on wolves will present the latest research on the status of wolf population in the Alps and propose concrete actions for the conservation and management of species.
During the conference, an afternoon session named "Wolf management in practice: protected areas' experiences" will be dedicated to the presentation of maximum 5 contributions in audiovisual formats (pictures, films, multivision...) to show the activities implemented by alpine protected areas on the subject: monitoring, research, communication
