This spring season has been full of activities for the Alpine Network.

The three co-financed Interreg projects ALPBIONET 2030, YOUrALPS and GaYA are actively setting up several activities and many others are planned for the coming months. In the frame of the GreenConnect and Wewild projects, several thematic international workshops, meetings and analyses have taken place. Furthermore, we have received more 50 registration forms for the 3rd Edition of the international educational project “Youth at the Top” from many Alpine protected areas, associations and youth organizations. Read the details of each ALPARC action in this newsletter.

A new ALPARC President will be nominated during the next ALPARC Council in June 2017. The entire Network and the Task Force say a big thanks and farewell to Dr. Michael Vogel for his active engagement during almost 13 years as ALPARC’s President. Mr Vogel has always promoted the international cooperation’s approaches and values between protected areas with great enthusiasm. During the last network’s General Assembly he has been designated Honorary President of ALPARC. Thank you Michael Vogel!
