On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity, the Bern Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats launches the social media campaign #NotAlone. The campaign focuses on cities which, due to climate change, are becoming heat islands

It is aimed at raising awareness on how biodiversity helps protecting human well-being and mitigating the effects of climate change.
