Between the 1st and 10th of September 2016 in Hawai'i it will take place the IUCN Word conservation Congress which is the world’s largest and most democratic recurring conservation event in the world.
Heads of State and other high-level government officials, top CEOs and business leaders, representatives from indigenous groups and leading civil society organisations of all shapes and sizes along with top scientists, academics, influencers, educators and artists from all over the world will be there to define the sustainable path for moving 2015's historic climate and sustainable development agreements into action.
During this congress it will take place the session: Mountain Protected Areas: Leadership for adapting to a Changing World which will be particularily dedicated to Mountain protected areas. All information here
